Eric LaRokk was raised in The Tampa Bay area as a 1st generation born American with Portuguese/Azorean roots. He was raised by creative parents who encouraged him, above all else, to follow his heart and explore all of his interests. With a musician as a father, and a beauty industry professional as a mother, it's no coincidence that his career has led him to create imagery with artists and beauty brands alike.
Since childhood, his interests have been deep in the arts. Eric is an all around creative and has explored various mediums during his life from music to visual arts, but has focused mainly on photography for over a decade. His multicultural upbringing, world travels, and diverse life experiences are all sources that he draws upon creatively.
Eric's journey isn't your typical photographer story. He first picked up a camera to document training in the U.S. Army, and then deployed to Afghanistan as a Combat Photographer. That experience shaped him significantly as an artist and a man, forcing him to view the world through a different lens. Through that experience, he brings a documentary eye to the world of creative imagery. After the military, Eric transitioned to photography in the music & modeling industries, and has since been focused on creating top of the line imagery in the realms of beauty, advertising, fashion editorials, and celebrity portraits.
